An F1 Goldendoodle has one poodle parent and one golden retriever parent.
Things to know about F1's... F1s make wonderful, loveable, energetic, great companions. F1's will make any family a fantastic dog but their coats and furnishings are never consistent.
We have several F1 females that are in our breeding program that we love to the moon and back. However, at this time we are not offering F1s, because we want to provide the most sought-after hypoallergenic, non-shedding, and fully furnished Goldendoodles.
F1B Goldendoodles are the result of breeding an F1 Goldendoodle with another poodle. This means the result is 75% poodle and 25% golden retriever genetically. This emphasizes the poodle traits and de-emphasizes the golden retriever traits. This is one of the best choices of Goldendoodle for anyone looking for a hypoallergenic doodle. While no dog is entirely hypoallergenic, F1B Goldendoodles are as close as possible.
Shedding: Little to no shedding. There will still be a little dander, and there will be occasional hairs around the home. Anyone who has lived with a golden retriever or German shepherd can tell you that this is not real “shedding”.
Coat: F1B Goldendoodles tend to have lots of soft curls. It’s not impossible to have a shaggy F1B, just less likely.
F1bb, F2bb, or Multigenerationals are the most Hypoallergenic and Non-Shedding of the Goldendoodle Generations.
F1bb, F2bb, or Multigenerational Goldendoodles are the result of breeding an F1b or F2b back to a poodle or a higher generation.
This would be the best choice of a Goldendoodle for those who suffer from severe allergies and don't want a poodle.
